The recognition of acquired competencies (RAC) process in vocational training allows adults to obtain official recognition for competencies acquired on the job or through real-life experience in relation to a program of study. At the conclusion of the process candidates receive the official ministry of education diploma for the program.
RAC is a process that is available to anyone who has worked in a trade and would like to obtain their diploma or someone who has received training outside of Québec that is not currently recognized by the Ministry of Education.
