About the program

Our Security Agent program offers basic training for first-time licence applicants as private security guards. The program is divided into the following sections:

Course 1 – Industry, Duties, Legislation and Standards of Behaviour

Course 2 – Emergency Response Procedures

Course 3 – First Aid Techniques

What skills will I learn?

• Operation Monitoring – Observing indicators to ensure proper operation of equipment
• Negotiation – Bringing people together and helping others to reconcile differences
• Complex Problem Solving – Identifying, evaluating and offering solutions to problems
• Active Learning – Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
• Judgment and Decision Making
• Critical Thinking – How to use logic and reasoning to resolving problematic situations
