Our services include career and personal counselling, informal evaluation, consultation, information, liaison, and referral activities.
Through telephone conversations and personal meetings, we provide individuals with information related to career training programs and other post-secondary education options. During these sessions, candidates have the opportunity to gain more knowledge about available programs and how they match with their future career goals.
Career assessment services for current students who may need to change career paths are also available. Students can visit our centres learn more about our programs as well as exploring being a student for a day.
Students entering a program at Lester B. Pearson Continuing Education (LBPCE) may be facing difficult personal, family or social challenges. We offer students short-term personal counselling services in order to help them cope with their difficulties. When required, a referral to appropriate external resources is offered. Students are able to access services directly or may be referred through a LBPCE career training or adult education program.
