New Hybrid Courses

Some courses at PACC are hybrid: Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Science, Math 4S and Math 5S.  A hybrid course is a combination of online and in-person learning.  In our Hybrid model, teachers assign specific days where students have the choice of learning in school or online. However, there are some days when students must come to school. Students will be given the online/onsite schedule in advance.

In order to be a successful online learner, regular classroom and virtual attendance is required. To learn online, students must have a strong internet connection and a fully functional laptop or Chromebook. (Tablets, iPads, and cell phones are not permitted) Students who choose to learn online must keep their cameras on at all times.

Hybrid courses allow students to benefit from a more flexible learning environment while obtaining useful skills for the future. Please consult the schedule to see when our hybrid courses are offered.

We look forward to seeing you.

About the Centre

Welcome to PACC Adult Education Centre where students are the heart of our school.

Adult Education at PACC is teacher-directed and is taught by a seasoned group of dedicated professionals who know that each student who walks through our doors is capable of achieving success.

PACC is a warm, caring and safe environment where we focus on each student’s future plans. We strive to capture the initiative and potential of each student. Our centre is built on the foundation of respect, helpfulness and a desire for life-long learning. We know that success is a great motivator and we aim to help our students actualize their dreams and aspirations. Our diverse school population allows us all to learn from each other and to accept and celebrate our differences.

PACC Adult Education Centre has full time cafeteria services during the day. It also has two gymnasiums, an auditorium, a restaurant and a student lounge. Being attached to PACC Career Centre, students at the PACC Adult Education Centre have the benefit of being able to purchase products prepared by the professional cooking, pastry and butchery students.

We have a vibrant student life with activities like our Corn Roast and Spring Fling.  Students participate in many celebration and awareness events such as Aboriginal Week and Black History Month, as well as lunch-time and after school activities organized by our dedicated team of teachers. Our sporting events include floor hockey, basketball, and soccer games. The gym is often open at lunch time and after school for sporting activities such aerobics, dance and team sports.

My educational experience at PACC Adult Education centre is a wonderful one. The centre is located in the heart of LaSalle where bus and metro access is easy. The facility has a gym, exercise classes, circle groups that you can join to discuss personal issues if needed. I am really happy that I found this place.
