Professional Bread Making

Is there anything better than the smell of freshly baked bread? After the first time you take a fresh baguette or loaf of freshly baked rye bread from our state-of-the-art oven, we are willing to bet you will be as hooked as we are!

This 795 Diplôme d’Études Professionnelles (DEP), which includes a stage placement in industry, will prepare you to join the exciting world of Professional Bread Making.

Program Description

Our professional bread making vocational program provides a comprehensive education in the traditional and contemporary techniques of bread making. Students will learn the art of fermentation, dough handling, and shaping, as well as the science behind ingredients and equipment.

With hands-on instruction from experienced bakers, students will gain a deep understanding of the various styles of bread, from sourdough to whole grain and beyond. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced cook looking to specialize in bread making, our program offers the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel in the field.
